PLAYA: Karen did a month-long residency at Playa at Summer Lake in the Oregon High Desert in April 2012.
Also in residence that month were painters Nancy Pobanz, Rakar West, Joan Stuart Ross, and Nina Elder.
Nancy's painting What's It Take? is reproduced as the cover image for Skein of Light.
